Handmade book by TTC. Color printed on 2 different papers and a dustcover. 

The book is made over the exhibition "We redefine when we come of age 1976-1987" featuring works by: Beni Bischof, Ina Viola Blasius, Søren Thilo Funder, Stine Marie Jacobsen, Claus Haxholm Jensen, Lene Barnkob Kaas, Michal Kozlowski, Adrien Missika, David Ostrowski, Magnus Pettersen, Danilo Stankovic, Brad Troemel and Honza Zamojski. 

The book “PAPIR” is the Danish word for paper. It is the basic  material that this project is all about.  Four different kinds of paper were sent to 14 different artists, artist groups, gallerists and publishers. This was an invitation to take part in a collaborative study of the art book.

Matter seems luminescent is about four artist and their collaboration on three exhibitions from the period 2008-2010. The artists’ focus is on 1960s and 1990s youth culture, and the ideals, symbols and events that shaped these decades, both culturally and aesthetically. The intention with this book is to present the works from all three exhibitions as well as related material including research, interviews and thoughts with a view to creating a fresh perspective on the project of these four artists.
